Summary:
Operate a CNC Brake Press and support the production team by operating machinery to produce metal parts as instructed by supervisors.
Job
Responsibilities:
Operate a CNC Brake Press used in the production process to form metal parts Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Follow all company rules and polices.
Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Complete daily production logs.
Communicate part issues for quality, safety, or delivery to supervisor Communicate with management and coworkers effectively.
Clean and maintain work area.
Maintain Lean systems and work areas and practice 5S.
Operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis(JSAs).
Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Experience working with sheet metal Ability to read blueprints, calipers and tape measure Solid reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance Wear all PPE as required Good communication skills Must be able to stand for a long period of time in one area.
Must be detailed oriented Flexible schedule is required; this position requires shift work, when needed, as well as some weekend work.
Candidate has to be a strong team player.
Candidate has to be reliable with good attendance history.
