(TGCI) is a diversified consumer products company with approximately 2,500 employees.
Can Corporation of America (CCA), a subsidiary of TGCI and a leader in the manufacturing of 3-piece food cans is seeking a highly motivated hands-on individual who will play a major role in driving business retention & development initiatives.
This role must successfully build strong relationships across all lines of business and functional departments within CCA as well as with strategic customers.
Overall Responsibilities Identifies new opportunities through following leads from existing clients, attending trade shows and conferences, researching online and cold calling Responds to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers, answers questions regarding current and future needs, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financial arrangements Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and key accounts, industry influencers, and key partners Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, working with plant personnel, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational events, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks Updates management by submitting activity reports, such as call & trip reports Travels approximately 50% of the time Job
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Preferred)
Experience:
3-5 years Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Strong communication skills:
oral, written, presentation and interpersonal Able to manage multiple projects and priorities Results driven, able to focus on organizational growth and performance Proficient computer skills to include all Microsoft Products Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports SAP experience a plus Prior food industry experience (preferred) Job Type:
